1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Mawogo marketplace, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Platform Services

Mawogo provides a marketplace platform connecting customers and verified sellers. Orders are fulfilled through two paths: MFS (Mawogo Fulfilled Shipment), where Mawogo packs and delivers, and MD (Merchant Delivered), where the seller ships directly. We facilitate transactions but are not a party to the sale between sellers and customers — sellers are responsible for product quality and accuracy, and for MD orders, for delivery.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and promptly update any changes. Accounts are non-transferable.

4. Payments and Fees

All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. Prices are displayed in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Sellers agree to the commission structure outlined in the Seller Agreement, and payments are released on order confirmation.

5. Seller Obligations

Sellers must be verified before listing and are responsible for keeping product information accurate, maintaining stock, and fulfilling orders through their chosen path (MFS or MD). Sellers may not list prohibited or counterfeit goods.

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users agree not to: misuse the platform, engage in fraudulent activity, harass other users, attempt to circumvent our systems, or use the platform for illegal purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

Mawogo's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
